International Adoptees Able to Adjust

The AP is reporting on a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association that shows that children adopted from outside the U.S. are able to adjust to life in the U.S. While the study found that children born overseas are not emotionally traumatized by moving to the U.S., it did note
"adopted children in general had more behavior problems than nonadopted youngsters, regardless of where the adoption took place - a result that is not surprising, since both groups often suffer deprivation and come from broken families."
